This piece was heavily inspired by a lot of media I was interested in at the time, I was reading through the Vagabond manga, playing through Sekiro and watching Samurai Champloo & Seven Samurai, needless to say, I was extremely interested in samurai/ shinobi/ edo japan culture at the time. The piece is titled Hope as the tale is of a vagabond hunting down some sort of giant samurai godly being, this moment is supposed to act as a pseudo manga front cover or movie poster, i'm not exactly sure. It's worth mentioning that I'm colourblind and find it really difficult to draw in colour, I don't find it hard because I am colourblind it's more because I have a lot of doubts and worries about my colouring abilities which come from my school life and teachers which would tell me that I'm using "incorrect" colours and such. This was a ton of fun to draw and one of my major comebacks to drawing with colour, this is the double meaning of the title.
